The River Youth

The River Youth Group vision is to create a Supernatural Culture of Empowerment that empowers each of them to walk in signs and wonders, inside and outside the four walls of the River Community Church - so that more miracles would happen during the week than on Sundays.

It also is a place where youth will receive unconditional love, learn to believe in people as well and have the ability to create trust with one another. We want the youth to discover how to manage their own lives, and how to pursue growth. We are creating a culture that celebrates taking risks. We want to celebrate youth stepping out in faith, not just if there is fruit. We are creating an environment that sets youth up to realize they can make a mistake with the prophetic words or even their lifestyle choices and that doesn't mean its fatal. Identity in who we are is VITAL. Creating an environment where students don't work for love but celebrate who they are is another one of the things we are working on!

Once a month, we provide recreation fun activities and the other Sunday afternoon we have Life Groups where the kids learn about how to connect with the Holy Spirit and to hear his voice. We spend time in praying for one another and holding each other up in prayer, as well as teach the teens to do life hearing the voice of the Lord .
